Throughout history honey has been tresured as one of the nature’s most perfect foods. It is a gift from the nature because honey is the most natural food. For many years, honey has been used for many different jobs, such as to pay taxes in Roman times; in Ancient Greece girls would dip their fingers into honey before their wedding so they could make sure that their married life will be sweet. Despite the small size of Bulgaria, the country is one of the most suitable places for honey production due to its diverse plant life and a temperate climate. Bee honey is a traditional Bulgarian export product highly appreciated all over the world.
